2. Information we collect
You provide: name, email, company (if given), account credentials, billing details (processed by our payment providers such as Gumroad or other checkout partners — we do not store full card numbers on our servers when using those processors), project/folder content, uploaded images, messages to hello@thespeciq.com, and support requests.
Collected automatically: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, referring URL, and diagnostic logs. Our analytics and email tools may set cookies or similar technologies. Tools we currently use: Google Analytics (GA4), Mailchimp, and Gumroad.
From processors: payment confirmation, subscription status, refund status.
3. How we use information
- Provide and improve Exact Crossover, Look Match, accounts, and exports
- Process payments, refunds, and plan changes
- Send transactional email (receipts, password resets, product notices)
- Send marketing email only if you opt in or as allowed by law — you can unsubscribe anytime
- Secure the Service, prevent abuse, and comply with law
- Analyze aggregate usage to improve the product
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Legal bases (if GDPR/UK GDPR applies)
Contract (to provide the Service), legitimate interests (security, product improvement, limited B2B outreach where lawful), consent (where required for marketing cookies or email), and legal obligation.

We share data with:
- Hosting and infrastructure providers
- Payment processors (e.g. Gumroad or others we designate)
- Email / support tools we use to operate hello@thespeciq.com
- Analytics providers we configure (see section 2)
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law
We require processors to use data only to provide services to us.
6. Retention
We keep account and billing records as long as your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. You may request deletion of account content subject to legal retention needs — email hello@thespeciq.com.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent. Email hello@thespeciq.com. You may also complain to a data protection authority.

The Service is for business users age 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
